About the parallel session discussion
The parallel session discussion recognizes the importance of incorporating real-world experiences and practical insights into the field of applied linguistics. By inviting the audience to share perspectives from the applied linguists or practitioner's point of view, the session aims to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced in language education.
During each parallel session, three invited talks will be presented, highlighting topics related to either applied linguistics or language teaching.

Following the set of applied linguistics talks, the audience will be encouraged to explore and discuss the presented topics from the perspective of language teaching.

Similarly, after the set of language teaching talks, the audience will have the opportunity to engage with the presented topics from the viewpoint of applied linguistics.
This structure aims to promote a comprehensive understanding of the subjects by facilitating a multidimensional exploration of the talks, and foster collaboration between applied linguists and language practitioners, promoting dialogue and facilitating the practical application of applied linguistics theories.

The roundtable discussion serves as a culmination of the conference's key topics and themes related to language education. In this engaging session, our invited discussants will respond to the insights and findings presented earlier in the conference, drawing from a rich array of pedagogical practices contributed by practitioners and scholarly works from applied linguists.
The roundtable aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by integrating the knowledge and experiences shared throughout the conference. The discussants will delve into innovative pedagogical strategies, leveraging the expertise of practitioners, and examining the latest advancements in applied linguistics research. We hope to provide a comprehensive and holistic perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by language educators and applied linguists in their daily work.
